If you'd like to have your stream listed here on UruTunes' home page, just register in this forum and send me (Swifthawk ) a private message with your details. Don't include any passwords or private information.

Keep in mind that UruTunes is a listing of streams and not a streaming provider. To get your own server, check this forum for tutorials and more information, and/or post here to get help.

To list your stream here on UruTunes, choose your ID and perhaps other stuff for your listing. Only the ID is required.

• Your ID (required). This must be one short word and will be your URL here on UruTunes.
• Stream Name (optional). If different from your ID, this shows on your UruTunes button and player page.
• Description (optional). A brief description of your stream. This shows on your UruTunes player page.

For your button to work, we need the following server details. If you have a different kind of server, we're happy to work with you to get on our list.

• For all Caster.fm servers (including the new "Cloud" service), I need your:
  • page URL (such as: something.IsMyRadio.com)
  • host name (such as: sapircast.caster.fm)
  • port number
  • mount
• For other servers, I need the full URL link to your server - that will likely include:
  • IP/hostname
  • port number
  • mount

So, I've been using and recommending Caster.fm's streaming service for many years because it's free and allows for lots of listeners. Now they have a new service that uses the latest Icecast streaming protocols, and I've updated our systems to work with it.
