New Site Layout

This is just a little note about the new layout of UruTunes.com. The calendar is gone, and the front page is no longer integrated to the forum.

When I first installed this forum, I had it integrated into the Home page for the purpose of enabling registered users to edit the Calendar. That was the only real need for the integration.

PodHopper suggested that we really didn't need another calendar related to Uru Live events, especially since the Guild of Messengers' calendar is so great. So, I killed our calendar - which wasn't great at all - changed the link to point to GoMe, and disconnected the Home pages from the forum. I'm sorry if this inconveniences anyone.

I've since rewritten the Home page to make it pretty, and I think I'm happy with it.

As always, if anyone has any issues, please let me know.

I probably should have given some warning before I killed the calendar.

If anyone needs any data from it, just say the word.

So, I put the polisher to the front pages again.

• Created a new Gallery page to avoid all that data loading every time the home pages refreshes.
• Re-added the Contact page for non-members to contact me/us.
• Some other, minor, boring stuff.

As always, please let me know if there are any issues.
