Re: Grey Status Buttons Problem
This issue with our status buttons is likely not related to Caster.fm's recent security breach. More info on that here.
I do still need your port numbers to fix our buttons.

Caster.fm Security Breach
Caster.fm got hacked yesterday apparently, and the free servers are temporarily disabled.
However, this issue is likely not related to the issue we had with status buttons. More info on that here.
Hopefully, they'll be back up by the time of the gathering tomorrow, at 13:00 in the Watcher's Pub.

Grey Status Buttons Problem
Shorah, DJs and streamers. With the recent move to a new hosting provider, there popped up a problem with our front page status buttons for Caster.fm server streamers. As a result, streams that use Caster.fm are showing grey, regardless of whether they're online or not. In order to fix this, I need ...

Website Hosting Change
As some may have noticed, I recently changed hosting providers on August 13, 2020. This was done for financial as well as technical reasons, with no drama involved, other than me pulling my hair out. :D The move did, however, cause a few glitches in the site, which have since been fixed, with timely...

Re: How to use an image as a link.
The above post is a demonstration of what I think is a bug in phpBB3. Here's an explanation of the problem. If one wishes to upload an image (or any kind of file) as an attachment to a post, the file cannot be made a link by nesting the bbcode ATTACHMENT tag inside a URL tag. One must show the image...

How to use an image as a link.
The following is a bbcode ATTACHMENT tag which cannot be made clickable inside a URL tag. It will forget the url and show the closing URL tag after it. I think this is a bug in phpBB3. Some words before the attachment, but inside the url. Some words after the attachment, but still inside the url.[/u...

Shorah Listeners!
I like taking requests live from folks in the Cavern, and playing stuff from my large library of many different kinds of music. Some of my favorites are movie, TV, and game themes, and music from each decade, but mostly pre-2000's. If you'd like to hear something, or wish for a particular kind of sh...

Re: Calendar of Events
We've determined that Google Calendar will not meet our requirements and so we're not doing that. I'm actively working on my own calendar software to integrate it into the current community setup. I will re-publish it once it's ready. Then, the task will be to upgrade it so that each user can subscr...

Re: Calendar of Events
So, I've discovered that there is no proper calendar extension for PHPBB (our forum software). That means, either I need to upgrade my own calendar software, which will take some time, or we use something outside of our own site. I prefer to have our own stuff that we have full control over, but... ...

Calendar of Events
We're planning to add a proper calendar for members to post their own events. It's high on my priority list, I promise.

Welcome!
Shorah, everyone! My name is Ezriilc|Swifthawk, and I'm glad you're here. Back in 2007, I built UruTunes.com to list streams done by players and fans of Myst Online Uru Live, and it still does that job to this day. This new forum is intended to serve the community that has grown around UruTunes over...
