Many Many years ago, when I was still living at home with my Dad, I was introduced to Myst.  I was in love with this game right away because I couldn't die or loose lives.  I was stumped sooooo quickly though because I didn't think to walk around the tower and find the other ladder with the clues.  When Riven came out I was very excited, same with Exile.  I cheat like crazy because a game is no fun for me if I'm not making progress.

Then in late 2003 a friend of mine told me there was going to be an online version called URU.  I bought it immediately and right away put in for my invitation to prologue.  I played through prime while waiting, and found URU Obesession in my quest to get answers.  About 2 or 3 weeks later I got my invite to Prologue.  It was so much fun even if linking took forever, and nobody could ever get into the city. 

 Next came the devastating news that it was going to be cancelled.  Well a good friend from URU Live invited me to Second Life where a bunch of "Uru Refugees" decided to re-build parts of URU.  I learned to build and helped take part in the building of the very first private island in SecondLife called Telador.  We built Bevin, Eder Kemo.  Then we went our separate ways, but I stayed friends with one or two very special people. 

In the meantime through UO I heard of Until Uru.  I had some fun with it, but the lack of anything new made it something I only frequented.

 My friend from Second Life, Almitra Blair, told me that Uru was going live again.  So of course I signed up for beta, and was thrilled to be back in the cavern after so long with other people.  Another friend from SecondLife had told me about Sinsnap.com. in July 2007.  I joined up and started singing away.  it wasn't until sometime in October that I heard of the Karaoke Party, but I've been enjoying participating in the Karaoke party ever since. 

 I now hope so much that there will be a season 2, and wait impatiently for news of when it will start.  I love URU so much, and can't imagine an end to the restoration.

 Just so anyone who's wondering knows...Since I joined snap before I knew about the URU Karaoke party I have a different name at Singsnap than I do here.  My Singsnap name is CrestenPixie.  I welcome any constructive criticism, since I always am interested in getting better!  I've enjoyed listening to all of you sing so much more than you'll ever know!  Hugs to all!
